Cabaret Risqué is committed to the idea of burlesque as an empowering and inclusive art form, celebrating the life force and drives we share and cultivating the joy of sensual delight found in us all. We value diversity and seek beauty for its own sake, beyond what is culturally dictated. Light-heartedness, humor and comedic arts rank highly on our scale, as do enthusiastic audiences! We seek to continue to refine and redefine the perception and boundaries of modern burlesque.

The Cabaret Risqué performers are oh-so-glad to meet you! We’re delighted to pack a powerhouse of variety talent and we’re always excited to share. Here’s little insight into who we are and what we do:

Foxy Moxy:
A vixen with a vision, this flamboyant fox searched far and wide to assemble Cabaret Risqué’s talented cast of characters. A 5-year veteran of the burlesque stage, Ms. Moxy’s honors include producing stage works for the 2007 and 2008 Greensboro (NC) Fringe Theatre Festival and receiving a Pittsburgh (PA) SproutFund arts grant for a burlesque production in 2004. In addition, she holds a Guinness World Record in bodypainting! Sassy, yet sincere, Foxy Moxy is committed to the idea of burlesque as an empowering and inclusive art form, celebrating the sexual life force we share and cultivating the joy of sensual beauty found in us all.

PhatManDee:
A jazz chanteuse whose talent should be measured in megawatts, PhatManDee is a performance phenomenon! A veteran of “The New York Burlesque Festival” and “San Francisco’s Exotic, Erotic Ball”, Ms. ManDee is a wildly famous face in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA and collects adoring new fans wherever she appears. Seamlessly blending comedic sensibilities with a powerful, three-octave range voice, PhatManDee invites her audiences to bask in a display of self-expression that redefines traditional burlesque’s boundaries.

Pajama Don:
A silver-tongued devil from way back, Mr. Pajama Don lends his talents in a variety of ways to our Cabaret stage. A man with a song in his heart, he also plays the upright bass and shares the emcee mic with Foxy Moxy. His sketch characters add hilarity to the show as evidenced by turns on stage as “NostraDONus: Seer of the Obvious” and the ever-welcome appearance as the oh-so-classy, “Bella Donna”.

Smokin’ McQueen:
“Boy-lesque” performer Smokin’ McQueen is an experience all by himself and an unforgettable one at that! Wry, raunchy and gifted with off-kilter comedic timing, Smokin’ is freshly returned from his performance before “The Hasselhoff” and company on prime time TV’s “America’s Got Talent”. Beyond that, this outrageous boy is so cute it’s hard to resist pinching both sets of his cheeks!

Tiger Roxxx:
Channeling the silver screen bombshells of a bygone era, this she-tiger is always ready to roar. She may appear sweet with her platinum locks, but beware; this shady lady is actually a Voudou Priestess, accustomed to walking in many worlds. She can channel her remarkable insight into your life if you engage her to perform a tarot reading for you! She also bears the distinction of being the only troupe member who is not only a hot mama but also a hot grand-mama as well! Tiger takes the stage to celebrate elegance.

Kara and Kane:
A captivating couple who communicate very effectively the sizzling electric spark that exists between them with their audiences. Embodying grace and the sensual joy of movement, their performance is not limited to the stage. Their sparks take flight in a breathtaking flirtation with the danger-laced art of fire dancing outside in the nighttime air. You can also catch Kara in a solo stage act adding amazing hula-hoop gyrations to the classic art of bump n’ grind striptease!

Caroleeena:
Teasingly, pleasingly tongue-twisting and fancy tickling, the sensuous, spoken-word goddess Caroleeena is a lady of many talents. When not delighting people with daring displays of her poetic prowess she can be found exercising her flame-taming skills as a performer of fire dance arts. Both onstage and outdoors, Caroleeena’s performances truly delight the senses.

Cypress:
Scintillating Cypress is our seriously sassy “Pick-Up Artist”. No, that doesn’t mean she’ll try and feed you a smooth line later to get you on the dance floor (though we know you’d enjoy that!). The Pick Up Artist finds entertaining ways to remove articles of clothing from the stage, after they’ve been shed by the burlesque & boylesque dancers. Cypress, like most of the troupe, is a multi-talented darling. You’ll see what we mean in the nighttime air as she dances like a she-devil among self-propelled balls of flame!
